Piano reflections

My poor old piano was beyond repair &amp not worth restoring. The outside finish was in horrible shape. The underside of the lid however still had it’s original finish. It was so glossy it nearly reflected like a mirror. I wish it could have been salvaged. It is so sad to see these remarkable old creations meet such a sad fate. We live on the top of a very large, steep hill that is currently covered in ice. My husband so badly wanted to light the piano on fire and roll it down the hill for a glorious send off! Thankfully, common sense prevailed!
