Homeless Census
As the sun rose, homeless-service workers and volunteers trolled the back alleys, nooks and crannies and woods of Omaha and Council Bluffs where homeless people usually are found. The workers counted them as part of an annual tally required by the federal government. This year’s count is still being tallied.
